Los Angeles. The city of dreams... Or demons if you knew better. From the sound of it L.A. was just as bad as the hellmouth. Well almost as bad. But still she wanted to come here. And after a, surprisingly short train ride, Dawn was finally here. Standing outside the train station with nothing but a tote bag in hand. She hadn't brought much. Just clothes and other random necessitys. With Sunnydale not being that far away she figured that she wouldn't need to bring a whole bunch. And... she was kind of hoping that the less stuff she packed the longer it would take Buffy to find out that she had left... it wasn't that it slipped her mind. "Hey I'm leaving" was a hard thing to forget to mention to someone. Especially someone like Buffy. And that was exactly why she didn't tell Buffy. If she even tried to say that she wanted to go to L.A. for awhile Buffy would say no before she got another word out. Hmph. So she had packed up and left while Buffy, Willow and Xander were busy with the slayers. She felt a little guilty that she didn't tell anyone but Dawn just needed a break. With Sunnydale rebuilt. All the potentials. And her sister. It was too much. All of it was stressful. So Los Angeles was her escape. She hoped it be anyways.
Adjusting the strap of the tote bag that lay on her left shoulder, the brunette started her way off the train platform and onto the street. Her plan had been too go to the Hyperion and bunk with the gang there, but halfway through the train ride she had realized that Angel, being loyal to Buffy and all, would just call her sister to let her know that she was here. And then with that news Buffy would march her way down here and Dawn would be in big trouble. She knew she'd have to deal with Buffy sooner or later but she'd prefer later. Way later. Possibly a few days? Either way the Hyperion wasn't much of a option. It still was but... with the possibility that Buffy would be called Dawn decided to avoid the Hyperion. So now she wasn't really sure where to go.

Faith was patrolling and decided to go get some hot dogs for the gang from the train station it wasn't like Faith had anything else to do the last boy sure enjoyed her time. Faith held a stake in her hand, and even some holy water in her pocket never know what dumb ass people will be lurking all over this place. Plus hearing from Angel this was one hot spot for newly risen vampires, and she needed some type of action. For one thing Faith was not the research type that is what Willow is for besides the only thing Faith is good at is killing, sex, and of course fighting. Everyone knew Faith was a killer even Wesley said a rabid dog that needed to be put down maybe it was true, but Faith didn't want no part of Sunnydale. Besides that was Buffy's place not wanting to be in the shadow of the good slayer, but instead gets compared to being the evil rouge slayer who has no feelings which is bullshit to Faith. Sure she didn't show it but Faith had feelings just doesn't like to express them.
"Okay lets see kick some ass tonight or go party" She pondered talking to herself, but her eyes caught wait was it Dawn? Buffy little sister why the hell was she in Los Angeles? Faith was curious moving over to Dawn c crossing her arms over her chest the girl had explaining to do. "Mind telling me why your here Dawn? Not that I won't say anything to B thought you be in sunnydale by now" Did Dawn not want to go back to Sunnydale who knew as she took Dawn's bag from her putting it over her shoulder. "Come on kid we'll talk and chill alright" Not even waiting for Dawn's answers Faith pulled her to a bench sitting down tucking that stake behind her jacket. "Isn't B looking for you or did you sneak off?" The girl was like Faith in a way, but why leave her home and friends the only reason she left Sunnydale was.. Faith didn't have nothing going for her no ties to anyone other then Angel and his gang. Los Angeles may be the city of people who are lost, but if your not careful this city will either kill you, or eat you alive. Notcing Dawn seemed a bit uncomfortab le Faith wondered why if she would get the truth. Dawn knew Faith was way different then Buffy and not the type to rat her out. Maybe she will even let Dawn stay with her.

As she walked down the street Dawns eyes wandered over the area. It didn't appear to be that crowded. It was late out but Dawn thought that it be busy none the less. It was Los Angeles after all... Probably just the train station wasn't crowded? It wasn't like people were always taking the train. Everyone seemed to prefer airports more. She guessed flying was better but- Dawn paused. What she saw caused her to stop in her tracks. W-Was that Faith? That was Faith wasn't it.
Oh crap! I'm so dead!
She was nervous now. Maybe she could avoid her? It was dark so she could cut down the nearest street. Or duck into the nearest door! Maybe she could-, too late. Faith had spotted her. Dawns muscles tensed. This couldn't end well...
As Faith approached her, arms crossed and with what appeared to be curiousity on her face. Dawn stammered. She was nervous! She couldn't help but ramble when she was nervous. "I-I was. But I,.." Even if she tended to ramble, it was cut off before it got far for when Faith took the bag from her Dawn blinked surprised. She went to protest but she wasn't given time to reply for Faith had pulled her to a nearby bench. Sitting down, Dawn looked at Faith. She chewed on the inside of her bottom lip. She wondered if Faith would call Buffy. She really hoped not. She knew Faith was different then Buffy but Faith wasn't the type of girl that was predictable. Who knew if she would tell on her or not.
Regaining a bit of her confidence she said. "Of course she knows. I wouldn't leave without her knowing." It was a lie but it wasn't like she was going to tell the truth!

Of course she knows. I wouldn't leave without her knowing.
Chuckles Faith was not stupid and knew Dawn left Sunnydale by sneaking out it was quite funny maybe Dawn was nothing like Buffy that be a good thing. Listening to Dawn was she really going to tell Buffy Dawn was here probably not. Turning her head some maybe Dawn could stay with her since she stayed at the hotel with Angel. "Dawn I know your lieing you never told her remember I am not your sister, and I already told you she won't know your here, but I can't make promises that she will not find out" Faith was actually curious to why Dawn was in L.A I know it just wasn't about getting away from Sunnydale, but maybe something was going on with her sister. "Dawn what really is going on? Why did you come to Los Angeles alone without B by your side? Don't lie to me because like I said I am not Buffy" True Faith would never be like Buffy Dawn didn't know why she left Sunnydale, but she was getting sick of being compared to perfect Buffy, and besides the Angel gang needed her.
"Look how about this since your in Los Angeles and you have no place to really go I will let you crash with me for however long you think before Buffy comes dragging your sorry but home" Faith knew Buffy would do it she was the cool slayer not the type who didn't listen to anyone. Sure in Sunnydale Buffy had high authority, and that changed when Faith came here finally she didn't haft to be under Miss Summers shadow. Faith was glad in a way another familiar face was here, but the minuet B finds out Dawn missing she would be here in a heartbeat. Dawn kinda reminded Faith of herself young maybe she could learn something from Faith, and no not being a killer that was the past Buffy never can forgive her, but at least Angel could.
Taking another drag from her cig relaxing a bit more, but making sure the smoke was not hitting Dawn in the face Faith had a bit of dust on her since staking three vampires tonight the last thing she needed was Dawn getting bit then Buffy chewing her ass off. "You know Dawn Spike here I am sure he would be glad to see you again: Faith knew Spike and Dawn were close in a way, and that was a good thing in Faith's book boy she could not wait to see the look on B's face,

Dawns eyes drifted to the ground, her head dropping down a little. Great. Here comes the talk. She wondered if Faith would give her 'the talk'. Even if she was Dawn wasn't going to listen to her. She didn't even listen to Buffy when she gave her the talks. The only one she ever listened to was mom.
"I just,.. wanted to get away?" She glanced at Faith out of the corner of her eye. Trying to sound innocent in a way. She felt like the innocent in this. She would defend that too. "It's hard being around her and the dozens of other slayers that were activated. Having one as a sister was enough, I don't want to be around more." She paused and looked at Faith. "You're different though!" She added quickly not wanting to get on the slayers bad side. "I, I mean the other slayers. You know, they're all like my age. I get enough of girls like them at school. I don't need superpowered ones in my own home too." It got annoying really. She used to only be in her sisters shadow, and now she was in everybodys shadow.
Dawns face lit up as she looked up at the older slayer. "Really? You'd let me stay with you?" In truth she didn't really like Faith... Ever since Faith first came to Sunnydale she didn't like her. But Faith was on their side now. She was a good person, even if her personality would say otherwise most of the time. Staying with her wouldn't be so bad? Faith was a fun person. "That be great!.. not the last part. The staying with you part." She held back a roll of her eyes. Buffy. Ugh, she'd be coming soon. Once she figured out that she wasn't in Sunnydale that is. Hopefully that be awhile though. She felt a bit bad that Buffy might at first think she was in danger somewhere. But she just wanted to get away! Was that really so much to ask for?
Getting up off of the bench, Dawn turned to Faith. "Okay so, lets go. Where is your place?" She wondered where Faith was staying. She hoped it wasn't the Hyperion. She knew Angel lived there and he would definetly call Buffy. It might start out as a friendly call saying 'she was okay' but then it turn into Buffy dashing down here and that would lead to her being dragged back to Sunnydale. The place she didn't want to be anywhere near.
"Wait-" What Faith said was just registering in her head. "What do you mean Spike is here?" Confusion showed on her face as she looked at the slayer. "Spike's dead."

It's hard being around her and the dozens of other slayers that were activated. Having one as a sister was enough, I don't want to be around more.
Listening to Dawn she understood the girl thats why she left Sunnydale there was not enough room for her there, and besides this was her new home so maybe Dawn could stay till her sister came and got her. " I can understand that B is enough in herself, but now having like more slayers can do damage to you." Dawn was like her in a way and that was something Faith could relate to sure she done bad deeds in her time, and wanted to make sure Dawn never went down that path to destruction.
What do you mean Spike is here?"
Guess no one from Sunnydale knew about spike as she walked with Dawn toward a cab getting in scooting over for the girl. "Spike alive here in Los Angeles still with his soul if you want I will let you see him." She knew Spike and Dawn were close shoot Spike do anything for Dawn finally tugging Dawn in the cab as they drove to where Faith lived at the hotel. "Angel knows your here, and you don't got to worry. He said you can have your own room in the hotel." Leaning back against the seat Faith knew it be a lot for Dawn to take in with Spike returning and all, but it would do Dawn and Spike good. "I will see if he will come by the hotel sound good" She asked. (Sorry if short at work)

"She is. I mean, I just feel that I'm unwanted there. Like I'm just another mouth to feed, you know?" She scoffed softly, her gaze turning to the ground. "She's so busy with the new slayers that I doubt she'll even notice I'm gone for another week." That was probably a exageration but it felt true! That house was so crowded that someone could go missing and no one would notice. In her opinion anyways.
Dawn looked at Faith, her expression going blank as she spoke. "Spike can't be here. I saw him die. I saw a little, but I saw the light engulf him." Buffy was the only one that actually saw him burning up. But Buffy said he was dead, buried beneath the hellmouth. "He can't be alive. Vampires die when they're staked. He turned to dust." It wasn't that she didn't want to believe. She did! She loved Spike, in that friend way. She was devestated that he was dead. His death had upsetted her. But him being alive again? She couldn't believe that that was even possible.
Dawn walked with her to a cab, getting in once Faith scooted over. Once she closed the door her attention turned back to Faith. "How is he alive?" She wondered if she was just playing with her. This was something she had to see for herself.

Buffy had packed back up just what she needed. Which was mostly weapons, clothes, and shoes. It hadn't taken long, she didn't have much and she was ready to go. She figured the others would just follow her, if they hadn't commuted there already, but she needed to find Dawn. She went up to her room and when she saw most of Dawn's things were gone, Buffy was a little upset. Good thing she was already going to Los Angeles. She wasn't mad at Dawn, just the fact she hadn't told her she was leaving. It upset her a lot.
She took her things, all packed, and made her way to the train station. She knew this trip would be interesting. Especially seeing Spike again after he'd died. Buffy wasn't really looking forward to it. She knew she had to but part of her just wanted to run away and hide. She was afraid to show her feelings, for anyone to know that she wasn't as strong as it seemed. She was human after all, most of her anyway.
She stepped off the train and turned the corner, seeing Dawn. She started to walk over to where she and Faith stood. She was still pretty upset that Dawn had left without telling her but Buffy tried to stay calm as she approached her sister.
