- Full History- _Fred_
Winifred "Fred" Burkle was born in Dallas, Texas to Roger and Patricia Burkle. Her childhood was normal, and her favorite toy being her stuffed rabbit, Feigenbaum, master of the elements, the toy being named after the physicist who studied chaos.
When she was older, Fred moved to Los Angeles to attend a graduate school at UCLA. Her major was history, it was what she first went to the school to learn more on. But after she took Professor Seidels physics class, it inspired her to take another path in life and to pursue physics. She eventually became great at it. A promising student that was excelling in the class.
In college, Fred was a marijuana user. Having done "weed" occasionally. She was also a conspiracy theorist, believing the goverment was hiding things. Doing experiants on people. Among other things.
Along with her studys, Fred worked at Stewart Brunell Public Library. Though on May 7th, 1996, while Fred was shelving a demon language textbook, she had, out of curiousity, recited the cryptic text off of a page out loud. It was those words that opened a portal leading to another dimension The portal sucked Fred in, taking her to Pylea. While she was sucked in, her future friend and the owner of the soon to be created Caritas, Lorne was sucked out of Pylea, bringing him to the mortal world where he would then lead the life he dreamed, full of music and color.
Freds life in Pylea was a rough one. Pylea is a hell dimension, where demons are the dominant life forms and humans are treated as animals to be used as slaves, beasts of burden and even a source of food. Fred spent five years in this hell dimension as a "cow", even had to wear a shock collar. Though she did manage to disable its affects at times. This new life drove her sanity some ways away, making her a bit crazy and unsocial.
One day while scribbling once more on a wall of a cave she frequently visited and wrote on, she was discovered by Angel. Her savior. She attatched to him fairly quickly. Even when Angels demonic appearance showed, she wasn't scared of him, and he never attacked her.
Fred describes him as the "handsome man who saved me from the monsters".
After the events of Pylea, a portal was opened and the group was sent back to their own world. Fred had thought that this life hadn't existed, that it had all been a dream, but it turned out to be real, and she was home once more.
While back, Fred stayed at Angel Investigations, at the Hyperion with the rest of its members. With her social skills being seriously harmed by Pyleas envoirment, and her mental health not being so great, she needed their help. So she stayed with them while she re-adjusted to life on earth.
Over time, Fred regained her mental health, and became a valuable asset to the team. Often creating inventions and helping with the book work and occasionally fights.
During her time here she developed a romantic relationship with Gunn, and even caught the affection of the former watcher, Wesley. Though nothing ever happened between the two. She was with Gunn for over a year, they were inlove. But their relationship was ruined when Fred had met up with her old college professor, Professor Seidel, at a physics convention. A few minutes alone in his office caused her much trouble for after exaimining a book on his shelf, she found Pylean writing inside. Fred realized that he was the one that sent her to Pylea, along with other students who had also showed promise and great future potential. With this knowledge, Fred had attempted to kill him by sending him to a hell dimension, but Gunn snapped his neck killing him as he was sucked into the portal. Gunn and Freds relationship slowly ended after that and the two split up for good.
Roughly a year later, and after the defeat of Jasmine, Lilah Morgan returned from the dead and offered Angel Wolfram and Harts L.A. branch. The whole team had been hesitant, but eventually they accepted.
Upon joining Wolfram and Hart, Fred became the head of the Science Division there, a department Angel came to reply upon alot. While working there, she even started to go out with her co-worker Knox, though after a few dates with him, she began to develop feelings for Wesley again. She broke it off with Knox and one night she revealed her feelings for Wesley and the two shared a kiss.
This relationship didn't last long though. About a week after they became a couple, a mysterious sarcophagus appeared in the science lab. Curiousity getting the better of her, Fred leaned in to exaimine it. But as she did a hole opened up in the cover and a breathe of wind blew up into her face, causing her to cough and inhale the air. Shortly after this, Fred collapsed choking up blood.
She woke up to find the team at her bedside. It turned out that the sarcophagus that appeared in the lab beloned to a old one, Illyria, and that Fred actually inhaled the old ones essence. The essence released a parasite into her body and it had begun to eat away at her innards, shelling her out for the old one and making room for the Old One.
The team went their seperate ways to find a way to stop this and to save their friend.
Gunn found out that he had signed the papers that allowed it to pass through customs, in exchange for the knowledge Wolfram and Hart put in his brain. He also found out that Knox was behind all of this. That he was a follower of Illyria, her Qwa'ha Xahn, meaning her High Priest.
Meanwhile Angel and Spike travel to England in search of a cure. They find the Deeper Well and its keeper Drogyn the battlebrand. The two found that there was a cure, but one that put many lives at stake. With this, they were forced to do nothing as Fred died in Wesleys arms back home inside her bedroom.
Dead, Freds soul is consumed, making it impossible for her to return from the dead or enjoy the afterlife. Though Fred still exists through memories within Illyria.
_Illyria_
Eons ago, when the earth was still new, Illyria was one of the legendary Old Ones that plagued the world before the time of man. She was one of the most feared and worshipped at the time.
Her rule was over what is now modern California, where for centurys she ruled from her temple Vahla ha'nesh. It was here that she commanded her Army of Doom, which was comprised of thousands of demons. She would constantly rage war on her rivals, looking to dominate the others.
Later on in life, when the Old Ones lost their claim and power over the world, Illyria was murdered by her rivals, Old Ones like herself. Her corpse was placed in a stone sarcophagus and her powers stripped, placed inside jewels that are embedded on her coffins exterior. Along with other Old Ones, her sarcophagus was moved to the Deeper Well to prevent her and the others from ever ressurecting.
Though Illyria had been wise. Prior to her death, Illyria had planned her ressurection and her revene against the world. Her army was locked inside her temple and the temple was put out of phase with our timestream to keep it hidden.
Even in death, Illyria had many followers and acolytes. She is still worshipped by them even in our modern age.
Eons later, back at Wolfram and Hart, Knox had chose Fred, the girl he had fallen inlove with, to be Illyrias vessel. With Doctor Sparrows help, they got Gunn to sign the papers to allow the sarcophagus to pass through customs in exchange for his knowledge of the laws. The sarcophagus had made its way into customs because when planning her ressurection, Illyria had it planned that her sarcophagus would teleport to her kingdom so it could be revived. Though with the geological changes and the continential shifting, the sarcophagus was teleported outside of the U.S.A. and into customs.
Once it was released from its holding place, Knox had it delivered to the lab knowing Freds curiosity would get the best of her.
Illyria manifested inside of Fred. Instead of simply pocessing the body, Fred was hollowed out. The parasite that was Illyria liquidfied her organs and hardened her skin. After hours of this agony, Illyria took over.
Awakened, Illyria attempted to bring about the destruction of humankind by ressurecting her ancient army of doom with the help of Knox. Though he was soon shot by Wesley and she was left to do it herself, not that this was a problem for her. Illyria managed to defeat Angel, Spike and Wesley in open combat, and open a portal to her temple. But she soon discovered that her army was destroyed long ago. Turned to dust with age.
Hours after this realization, Illyria approached Wesley, and agreed to learn how to adjust to this modern world with his help. So she remained at Wolfram and Hart with a drunken Wesley, she was often seen wandering the halls.
When she learned that Gunn was being trapped in one of Wolfram and Hart's holding dimensions, Illyria opened a portal and rescued Gunn without hesitation. But it wasn't out of the kindness of her heart. She made it clear that the team owed her a great debt for the rescue of their friend. Hamilton later said that when Illyria rescued Gunn she had "destroyed eleven torture units, two troop carriers, an icecream truck, eight beautifully maintained lawns, and rendered useless dozens of Wolfram and Hart employees.
Weeks after learning and training with the team, Illyria's powers were starting to become unstable. It made her appear as if she were going mad. Her power was searching for a way to escape this shell, with this throwing Illyria out of linear progression of the timelime and altering her perspective. In one timeline, she staked Spike, killed Wesley and Lorne and decapitated Angel, then "exploaded", causing enough destruction to wipe out the entire continent.
Though Angel, now knowing of this for he was dragged in and back through time with Illyria, had stopped Illyria from killing his commrads. And before she could detonate, Wesley shot her with the Mutari Generator which extracted a large portion of her power.
Because of the Mutari Generator, Illyria was stripped of much of her super strength, as well as her abilities to alter time, speak to plants, and more. With the loss of her powers she grew bitter and withdrawn, considering this a defeat. Her emotional connection with Wesley grew for he continued to help her adjust. Though when Illyria wished to explore Freds relationship with Wesley, he rejected her. She also developed a connection with Spike, a strong bond formed between them.
As a result of her stripped powers, Illyria was defeated by Marcus Hamilton while protecting Drogyn when he was injured. She, in her own words, was "broken and humilated", but this defeat fueled her anger and motivated her to join the final battle against the Senior Partners.
With the rise of the battle, each set off to kill members of the Circle of the Black Thorn. Promising to make trophys of their spines, Illyria fought Izzerial the devil and three human members of the circle. Afterwards she sought out Wesley, having felt concern for him, but when arriving she found him dying from a fatal stab wound. She knealt before him, and out of a sort of fondness, assumed Freds form for the dying watcher. Wesley died in her arms, and with it Illyria had felt uncontrollable grief. She shattered Cyrus Vails skull with a single punch, then left to regroup with the others in the alley. Wishing to do more violence. She fought against the army the Senior Partners sent after them and survived.
Now, Illyria remains in L.A. Her alliance is unknown, though of recent her powers are starting to get out of control. At random Fred manifests within her, taking over her body and leaving in a weak, vulnerable state. One that makes things hard on the God-King.

(RP Sample)
RP SAMPLE: The blue goddess sat in one of the wall booths at Caritas. Though today her hair was not blue. She had taken the Burkle persona so the ice glazed over her eyes and the blue pigmentation in her skin and hair had disapeared. Replaced with Freds chocolate locks and tanned skin, as well as her dark eyes. Illyria did not enjoy taking this shells former appearance, but at times she choose to. It allowed her to enter public places and walk around without the mortals eyes constantly on her. She did not believe the humans eyes to be worthy to look upon one as mighty as her. Though of late she was not sure if she was worthy herself. In this body she reeked of humanity. She feared that she'd be prey to those that she once knew. Illyria, God-King of the Primordium, who was once God to a God was now stripped of her powers and forced to live amongst these insects called humans. It was grievious.
On the booth she sat ats table lay a alcoholic drink in a thin curved glass. A tiny pink umbrella sticking out of it. The liquid content of the drink was a sickly green color. At her request the stone faced bartender had 'surprised' her. Though now she was uncertain that that was a wise descision. The name of the drink she had dismissed, not having cared at all to remember. She was certain that it was of a supernatural nature though.
Caritas wasn't as packed as it usually was. The time of day was close to the rising of the sun so many of the creatures had left for their rest, or being in the case of vampires, their health. About eight others were here, including it's host and bartender. The beings were all of a different nature. One being a tall, violet skinned man with many crevices stretching over his skin. A toothy, three faced demon that looked to be wilting sung on stage, reciting the lines off of a small screen with a microphone in hand. The noise was displeasing to her ears. Illyria had more than half a mind to mutilate it's faces for its horrible attempt at entertainment.
Then there was the bars green skinned host, who sat on a barstool with a glass in hand. Listening to the 'music'. When she first walked in he had attempted to speak with her, but she would have none of it.
Illyria was not completly sure why she was here herself. The building belonging to the Wolf, the Ram, and the Hart was no longer under the souled vampires control, and with that she was not welcome there anymore. She had no desire to return to that confined space. She had spent enough time in there upon her ressurection. The hotel called the Hyperion had been a choice, but she decided against it. As well as the Burkles home but the shells parents still thought that their daughter was in a 'blue goth' stage. Their words was not something she wanted to listen to.
So she was brought here. This was her first time in this place. But Illyria had found it after exaimining this shells memories. Apparently it had been destroyed many times. And apparently it had been rebuilt. The shell had been fond of here.
Illyria, having found nothing else to do, came here.
